Deep groove ball bearing
Deep groove ball bearings are the most common rolling bearings. They have simple structures, are easy to use, and mainly are used to carry radial load. By increasing the height coefficient of the flange and increasing the radial clearance and other methods, the bearing has a certain performance of angular contact ball bearing and can carry a certain of axial load. Compared with other bearings of the same size, this kind of bearing has a low friction coefficient and high limit speed, but it doesn’t have impact resistance and is not suitable for heavy load.
After this kind of bearing is installed on the shaft, the axial position of shaft and shell can be limited within the range of its allowable axial clearance, so it can also be used as a bidirectional positioning bearing. In addition, because the raceway is arc shape, the bearing has a certain self-aligning performance. It will not affect its normal operation within the 3 ~ 11′ range of relative deviation of the inner and outer rings, but will reduce the service life of the bearing.
Deep groove ball bearings are widely used in automobiles, tractors, machine tools, motors, water pumps, agricultural machinery, textile machinery and so on.
Deep groove ball bearings mainly use ribbon pressed steel cages, and large size bearings mainly use machined brass solid cages.
