(1) Thrust self-aligning roller bearing
Structural features : Its axial bearing capacity is particularly large and can be self-aligning, so the axiality and the deflection of the shaft have little effect on the bearing.
The allowable self-aligning angle which does not exceed 3°generally is different for different structures. If the axial load is too large, the allowable self-aligning angle will decrease.
(2) Thrust cylindrical roller bearing
Thrust roller generally consists of single row to double row rollers, can withstand large axial forces and certain vibration loads. Such structure does not have a radial positioning function, cannot withstand radial forces, and does not have a self-aligning function.
Thrust cylindrical roller bearings can withstand axial heavy loads and are not sensitive to impact loads. Therefore, the axial installation space is small. Bearings of this type can only bear unidirectional axial loads.
(3) Thrust tapered roller bearing
Thrust tapered roller bearings can only withstand axial loads and limit the axial displacement of the shaft (or the shell) and are generally used for axial positioning. Compared with the thrust cylindrical roller bearing, the well-designed large flange of thrust tapered roller bearing can guide the roller correctly. Relative sliding between rollers is small.
Thrust tapered roller bearings are mainly used in construction machinery, automobiles and power generating equipment, etc.
(4) Screwdown bearing
Thrust tapered roller bearings for screw down mechanism are mainly used in the screw down mechanism of the rolling mill. This kind of bearing has no cage, and its raceway is filled with tapered rollers. It has strong axial load capacity but low limit speed. In order to improve the running performance, the bottom surface of the bearing top ring is a concave spherical surface (type TTSV00) or a convex spherical surface (type TTSX00).
Since the bearing is subjected to a large load, in order to ensure the formation of a lubricating oil film, a lubricant with "extreme pressure additives" should be selected. Apply a dry lubricating film to the self-aligning spherical surface of the top ring, to ensure that the sliding surface is well lubricated and flexible in self-aligning.
